Offensive advert
Helen F. Daniel

I emailed the AussieMite company recently to complain about the advertisement for their spread.
I explained that as a Catholic I found it highly offensive and asked what made them consider Catholicism a worthy target of such blasphemy? I also asked whether they would have tried such mockery on Islam or Judaism.
In less than two days I had received a sincere apology from AussieMite's managing director and a withdrawal of the advertisement. I write to encourage those who may be despondent that, whilst such a speedy outcome doesn't often occur, not to be discouraged to comment on what is right, particularly in matters relating to one's faith.
