Overseas priests
Peter Gilet

Has anyone noticed that liberal Catholics now talk with some asperity about the Third World priests helping out in Australia?
This, I opine, is because they (the libs) can no longer urge reform on us when parish after parish is priestless, as they predicted. It is also that the very presence of these overseas priests manifests the universality of the Church under the Pope, not the cosiness of the local faith community under the parish elite.
