I am a new subscriber to AD2000 and want to thank you for providing a forum for authentic orthodox Catholic views to be expressed and heard.

I am only 34, so have no experience of the Catholic Church "pre-Vatican II". However, the ongoing secularisation, "Protestantisation" and liberalisation of Catholic teaching continues to dismay and concern me.

While we should be dealing with matters of eternal importance (i.e., saving our own and others' souls) much debate goes on and on as if we were some kind of "club" that needs to become more "with-it" and popular. There seems no awareness of any eternal judgement awaiting those deliberately undermining, confusing and obfuscating the Church's authentic teachings.

Keep up the good work. I for one really appreciate it.
