Father Des Jenkins celebrates his Golden Jubilee on Saturday 27 July. He will celebrate a High Mass in the Latin Rite at 10.30am at St Finbar's Church, Brighton East, and invites past parishioners to join him.

He has served the faithful in several parishes, adhering totally to Church teaching, and is a great supporter of the pro-life movement.

Father has answered many calls on Feast Days to hear hundreds of confessions and says the Latin Mass at St Joseph's, Black Rock, as well as giving retreats in Queensland to home-schooling parents and children. A very busy retirement!

Thank you, Father, from all your friends at St Joseph's. We pray that God will bless you with good health to keep up His work.
