I very much enjoyed the article by Father Paul Stuart, "Vocations continue in Melbourne." Some of the trends and changes he mentioned give me a lot of hope. In my former parish about six years ago I attended an information night on the "Tomorrow's Church" document and heard nothing but pessimism and resignation about future vocations.

Our future is in God's hands, and thank God we got Archbishop Pell, and now our magnificent new Archbishop Denis Hart. Thank God too for priests like Father Paul Stuart. May God bless us with many more leaders like them and bless us with even more seminarians and priests.
