The letter of Anne Lastman in the October issue of AD2000 under the above title quite correctly points out that the use of the term "same sex marriage" should not be used, because it quite wrongly associates homosexual acts with marriage.

Unfortunately bishops, priests and many others use this term. Anne Lastman suggests using "unities", "unions" or even relationships. Why not call a spade a spade and in this instance call homosexual acts for what they are, that is sodomy, impure and simple. I think this would really rattle the cages of the sodomites.
