Babette Francis points out (July AD2000) how the intelligentsia of the Left has promoted 'a false concept of moral equivalence' between those who see no harm in killing the unborn in the womb and those who work to have the practice halted.

My perception after listening to the ABC's current affairs broadcasts, including Radio National's Religion Report, is that those people who support abortion or favour homosexuality are 'moderates' while those who take the opposite position are 'extremists'.

It seems the 'false concept of equivalence' has taken a further step.
