Letters DisunityRegarding Bishop Morris of Toowoomba, how distressing for the Church that the visible sign of unity, the bishop, has been an agent of disunity. While I am sure all Catholics would prefer to have seen Bishop Morris have a change of heart involving a public demonstration of his fidelity to the truth, we cannot but be grateful to God that this shepherd is no longer leading souls astray. We must continue to pray and sacrifice for all our priests and bishops, for knowing the difficulty in being generous and faithful in my own vocation as wife and mother, I am in awe of any man who bears the responsibility of being a leader and teacher of souls in our secular society.
