Never let the truth get in the way of a good story. Did Dan Brown pull off the biggest confidence trick in literary history, upstaging Hans Christian Andersen's The Emperor's New Clothes?

Brown, jokingly, does not believe a word of his Da Vinci Code; nor did Hans Christian Andersen's confidence tricksters make a single thread of the invisible fabric they "spun". They were motivated by money, not truth.

Con artists such as Dan Brown, with little respect for their victim's "scotoma", parade bold-faced lies as truth, duping supposedly intelligent people into believing myth.

History proves the God-man, Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, died on the cross (blood and water flowing from His side), rose from the dead on the first Easter Sunday and ascended to heaven, as He will return.

The fact is that the bones of Jesus Christ are not on earth.

Jesus entrusted His Church, guided by the Holy Spirit, to write and choose the canonical list of books comprising the Holy Bible. This sacred library has held God's revealed, unchanging truth for nearly 2,000 years. Had the Bible "evolved" at the whim of continually changing man-made beliefs, it would have been forgotten and relegated to literary mediocrity a millennium ago.

Billions will continue cherishing the Bible as God's truth long after Dan Brown's mediocre and spurious gospel is thrown into the recycle bin. We will then see who is wearing the Emperor's clothes and who has been conned.
