Letters ACUI was saddened by the article "Notes from a theology unit at ACU." I teach catechetics at a state school, and we are able to teach the children Catholicism because we are a group of five strong-minded catechists who refuse to teach general religion. We are happy to follow the program set out in the Melbourne To Know, Worship and Love series of RE texts. I am horrified to think that such teaching at ACU is allowed to go on. God help our children in those schools where they are allowed to teach that sort of thing. Nevertheless, Our Lord knows how to deal with those teachers, but in His own time. Meanwhile, we have still more to pray for. God bless you for a wonderful magazine. Keep up the good work. SABINA SANNEN Reprinted from AD2000 Vol 18 No 3 (April 2005), p. 14 |
