From mustard seed beginnings, a spirit-driven work has germinated and borne much fruit.

A Rosary tape/CD (The Rosary for Children) produced by two Perth mothers, Brenda Croft and Jenny Knight, with no expertise and on borrowed money, has achieved international recognition via the United Catholic Music and Video Association (UCMVA) based in Iowa, USA.

Brenda and Jenny have been invited to attend the Third Annual Awards night on 26 October 2002 in the Hartke Theatre of the Catholic University of America. This is the first time Australians have been nominated by the UCMVA.

The mission of the UCMVA is to support, encourage and promote all forms of Catholic music and video, with its awards designed to give public recognition to accomplishments in the field of Catholic evangelisation.

During their brief stay, Brenda and Jenny will be interviewed by various groups and media including a yet-to-be-confirmed appearance on Mother Angelica's EWTN.

Brenda and Jenny's The Rosary for Children production began in a backyard recording studio and was consecrated to Our Lady of Fatima in May 1998. Following publicity in AD2000, with its global circulation, orders for 2,500 recordings came within two weeks.

Publicised elsewhere in the Catholic media and through talks in churches in several States, the recording was also taken under its founding banner of Rosary Evangelization Australia, to England, Scotland and Ireland.

Among the many fine moments in these countries was the opportunity to speak at the Knock Marian Shrine in County Mayo to between 5,000 and 7,000 people and on David Dunseith's BBC program in Belfast, which had a mainly Protestant audience of 300,000 to 400,000.

Following the introduction of The Rosary for Children into Ireland in May 1999, in October of that year, 50,000 Irish schoolchildren, along with adults, prayed the rosary for world peace, united with children and adults from around the world.

Brenda and Jenny next produced The Rosary for Youth, which was consecrated to Our Lady Help of Christians on 24 May 1999.

Sales of the The Rosary for Children have now reached about 100,000 while The Rosary for Youth is also proving successful. A third endeavour, Stations of the Cross, completed under the new banner of Perth Catholic Productions, was released in February 2001.
