These two new titles have been recently released by Ligouri Publications, a project of the Redemptorist congregation and both of them are useful aids to prayer. Eucharistic Devotion is especially designed for individuals and groups who wish to renew or commence devotion to the Eucharist.

The first section consists of an introduction that explores the history and theology of Eucharistic devotion; the second section contains well known and loved Eucharistic prayers and devotions.

From the Heart of Saint Alphonsus is a compilation of prayers, novenas, meditations and devotions from the writings of Saint Alphonsus Ligouri, the founder of the Redemptorist congregation. In the course of his long life, he wrote 111 books on a range of theological and devotional topics, such that he has been described as the "Doctor of Prayer".

Muckerman has chosen material from his writings and grouped them thematically, with material on the Sacred Heart, Corpus Christi, Christmas, and Our Lady and St Joseph.
