Recently, as a father of teenage children, I responded to and received an excellent kit - "True Love Waits" - which promotes sexual abstinence for youth and highlights its benefits. My children have greatly appreciated reading this very worthwhile publication.
Written and compiled in the everyday language of young people, the kit provides outlines of the real fruits and benefits of remaining chaste and of not being dominated by the values of the secular world which treats sexuality as a plaything. It sets out the often forgotten value of self- respect as a person and its longer term relationship benefits.
"True Love Waits" is a worldwide movement which has signed up around 1.5 million young people since 1993 to abstain from sex until marriage.
The South Australian address for "True Love Waits Campaign" is PO Box 270, Lobethal, SA 5241, tel/ fax (08) 8389 5070.
The cost of around $3.00 to cover publication expenses, etc, is a trifling price to pay for the spiritual health and values of an upcoming Christian generation.
