Most people like the idea of live and let live on lifestyle choices as long as it does not impact on others. Should we feel the same if open discussion on a particular lifestyle choice is barred to the general public? In the case of homosexuality we have no choice.

A range of intimidating legal manoeuvres has seen to it that this particular subject flies under the public radar with well known writers and concerned doctors having no chance to get their articles on the subject published in the daily press.

Many politicians and delegates to party conferences have little idea what homosexuality, and as a result same-sex marriage or civil unions, is all about.

To obtain accurate information one needs to read more specialised and reliable publications such as those available through the Australian Family Association (, or contact Terri Kelleher, 0438-501-117).
