Thank you for your publication, which, over the past several years has helped me, and many others, to keep abreast of Church events, and also of some of the incredible acts of disobedience to Christ's "Vicar on Earth".
My comment today is, however, about the Anglican cleric in your July edition who became Primate of his Church in Australia and who, like many today, preaches acceptance of people living daily in mortal sin.
Since God is perfect in every way, He never deviates from His word. Mortal times and fashions, styles and ideas may "grow" (or change) but He doesn't. Thus I draw attention to His holy Scriptures, in particular, His inspired Word in St Paul's first letter to the Corinthians, Chapter 6 verses 9 and 10. Cross-checked in my King James, Good News and Aramaic versions, the essence is the same, so I'll quote from my King James new version.
"Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the Kingdom of God."
There is no opinion necessary. God Himself says: unrepentant, unforgiven practising homosexuals, male or female, adulterers as in remarried divorcees, and other sinners, are excluded, unless they repent.
Sorry, I didn't make the rules, but you all know them.
