Gay peril

Gay peril

The average life expectancy for men is 78 years. It was 48 for homosexuals before the AIDS virus set in, and 38 after. That is according to P. Cameron and K. Cameron "Homosexual Parents", Adolescence 31 (1996): 757-76.

The same publication tells us that only two percent of active homosexual men live past the age of 65. Male homosexuals are prone to anal cancer, which is almost unheard of in heterosexual men.

They also suffer from a number of other sexually transmitted diseases, according to Laura Dean et al, "Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Health: Findings and Concerns," Journal of the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association 4, no. 3 (2000) 101-151. Lesbians are at lower risk for STDs, but at higher risk for breast cancer.

We are grateful our Christian religion warns us of the dangers homosexual physical behaviour entails, but to love, pray for and respect the individuals.
