Longtime readers of AD2000 will be familiar with the name of Fr Sebastian Camilleri. His regular reflection pieces over a period of years invariably brought positive, appreciative responses from those who welcomed his sound presentations of the Catholic faith.

Fr Camilleri, who was born in Malta, one of the world's most Catholic countries, spent many fruitful years serving the Church in Australia. He is now back in Malta where the present book was self-published.

The book consists of a collection of Fr Camilleri's writings and documents on a host of topics and from a wide range of contexts. Part One is headed 'Aspects of authentic Church teaching', Part Two deals with Fr Camilleri's pastoral experiences and Part Three cites the many letters and testimonials from priests, bishops and civil authorities expressing appreciation for his work.

Those who have had the good fortune to come in contact with Fr Camilleri will know that he is a holy, dedicated and zealous man of God. This book, while fostering an appreciation of the basics of the faith offers a reminder of what Fr Camilleri has accomplished in his pastoral ministry.

However, as this book is published in Malta, it is not easy to obtain. I suggest that any interested readers should contact Fr Camilleri direct for copies. His address is: Franciscan Fathers, Church Street, Sliema SLM 02, Malta, Europe. He has given an estimate of A$20.00 per copy, including postage. It might be best to check first with Fr Camilleri as to the exact amount required, and the best method of payment.
